Pheidole Pallidula

Pheidole Pallidula are known as The big headed ant, this is due to their major workers having very large heads compared to their bodies, this is to support their massive powerful crushing jaws.

Queen: Queen | 7-8 mm, Workers: 2-5 mm, Major: 3-5mm

Protein and Sugars are required for this colony: Wax Worms, roaches and Meal worms. Will take small seeds.

Temperature : 26-28c

No need to hibernate

Colony Size when mature : 10,000

Pheidole Pallidula are Fully claustral so do not require feeding until first workers arrive
